Tang How Brothers, Inc. is a reputable general contractor doing business in the United States Virgin Islands and providing commercial and residential customers with quality services for over 46 years.  We have also established Tang How Brothers, Inc. Training Center for welding, pipe fitting, and fabricating.  Our training program is certified by the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Education and endorsed by the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Labor as an Eligible Training Provider.  In that capacity we train and upgrade the welding and pipe fitting skills of both beginning and experienced journeyman and apprentices upon request to other local businesses.

          Tang How Brothers, Inc. specializes in welding, pipe fitting, and fabricating, including structural steel fabrication and erection, high pressure pipeline welding, powerhouse construction, storage tank repairs, and general industrial and commercial work.  Our company has performed work as a subcontractor for ongoing construction projects for leading businesses in the Territory in addition to offering training in basic and advance welding and fabricating.

Tang How Brothers, Training Center was established in January 2002, as a Vocational Training School, providing training in welding, pipe fitting, and pipe welding. Our training program and instructors are NCCER Certified and endorsed by the U.S. Virgin Islands of Labor as an Eligible Training Provider.

Three Islands

Our business has experienced major steel construction projects which include pipe welding, structural steel fabrication, and erecting for several General Contractors on the islands of St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John, United States Virgin Islands. Our business has the capability and equipment for welding and fabricating in the construction profile.

Tang How Brothers, Inc is a Welding and Fabricating Construction company that has been serving the U.S. Virgin Islands community since 1974. This business became a General Contracting Entity in 1986 and a Corporation in 1992. It is a locally owned and operated business and has been a certified member of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program for the Department of Public Works and the U.S. Virgin Islands Port Authority.

 

Our specialty is welding and fabricating, including structural steel fabrication and erection, high-pressure pipeline welding, powerhouse construction, storage tank repairs, and general industrial work.

ABOUT LINCOLN P. TANG HOW

The president Tang How Brothers Inc. is Lincoln P. Tang How. He has studied at the San Fernando Technical Institute in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies, where his field of study was Mechanical Engineering. His major subjects were Machine Shop, Mathematics, Chemistry, Engineering Drafting and Design, Structural Steel, Structural Concrete, Industrial Instrumentation and Architecture, Welding Theory and Practical, Storage Tank Repair, and General Industrial type work.

With this knowledge, Lincoln Tang How was able to start his own business, where he gained the experience, knowledge, and expertise needed to head this successful business and thus achieve a reputation in the U. S. Virgin Islands business community. Since 2001, he became NCCER Certified as a Piping/Welding Instructor & Master Trainer.
